In order to craft legal weapons in Styroblast, you'll need to know the requirements it must meet. Some types of weapons have different criteria that must be met in comparison to others. A general note for any weapon is that any area that would make contact with a player in battle must be covered by foam and duct tape. Also, any weapon made must first be tested on the crafter before it can be used on the battlefield. Be sure to follow any directions and advice given.

-Armor-
Armor can be made of anything you desire, however, there is one rule concerning armor/paddings; any part of your armor that you would use offensively (such as a elbow blade on an arm guard or kneecap) must be covered in foam to avoid injury to fighters (Tip: Though Safety glasses of some kind are not demanded, they are recommended for any and all players to wear).
-Shields-
Not many rules are needed for a shield, considering they are normally built for defense, rather than offense. However, any shield that is intended to be used to bash other fighters with must have foam covering the entire edge of the shield's rim (Note: Covering the front in foam is also a good idea in case the front sticks out in any way more so than the foam. Plus, it also helps absorb impact damage).
Celtic Lass.jpg-Swords-
The most standard weapon used. At the tip of the PVC pipe, wooden dowel, or whatever is used as the bone of the sword, there must be 1" of foam over it to prevent injury to players (Tip: the more rounded the head of the sword, the safer it is!). Foam must cover the blade and any other part of the sword that is intended to make contact with fellow players, and then coated in a layer of duct tape. These rules apply to single-handed and two-handed swords, as well as axes, claws, maces, and hammers.
-Spears-
Take in consideration how much of the spear may come into contact with other fighters when gauging how much of the handle you cover in foam underneath the duct tape. The end of the spear, trident, or staff can be tapered or pointed (to an extent). Be sure that the pointed end(s) are not hardened by the tape or foam; see to it that the ends are soft, so it will not be hurtful stabbings to other fighters. Cover as much of the beam of the staff, spear or trident you can in foam without heavily interfering in the grip-points on the weapon (Tip: it would be a good idea to cap the opposite end of your staff, trident or spear in foam, just in case you accidentally hit someone with it).
-Throwables-
These weapons are to be made almost completely out of foam. 75% or more of the Throwables must be foam, and the entire Throwable must be covered in foam (Note: You can't be sure where the contact area just might be on the spinning projectile). Throwing axes are classic Throwables and work great on the battlefield. Throwing knives or Morning Stars work as well. Any pointed spots on the Throwable must be soft.
-Archer Ammunition-
Extreme care and the uttermost caution is demanded for any ammunition being crafted for an Archer faction weapon. The head/tip/contact point of arrows and crossbolts must have layered paddings of foam, and cannot be pointed (must be rounded) (Note: small disks to not need foam on their rims, so stacks of disks make simple and quick Archer weaponry). The arrow/crossbolts heads must be very soft, because they will more than likely be flying at high speeds towards other fighters.
